One of Mayor Froese’s re-election goals was to work on a tree removal bylaw. He (and council) had better work pretty fast or much of Langley Township will be clear-cut.
It seems many property owners, scared that such might be forthcoming, are rushing to cut healthy, beautiful, very old conifers - just “because they can?”
Evidence is very sadly seen-just on 240th from Fraser Hwy north to 56th and I’m sure in many other areas.
