The Fort Langley Food and Beer festival was a sold-out success Saturday, with the grounds outside the historic fort packed with people enjoying truly summer-like weather with beer and fine food.

The event was the idea of Langley’s Trading Post Brewing Company, which invited local breweries to join them in serving up craft beer at a brand new beer festival for the Fraser Valley.

There was also live music, pinball machines and one really, really fast car, a McLaren P1 that a select few were allowed to sit in.
