Langley RCMP have released a file image of a 2022-2023 model year Ford F150 Lightning Lariat edition that is black in colour, the same type involved in a hit and run on Nov. 9 in the 21600-block of 16 Ave

Langley RCMP is looking for an all-electric Ford pickup with a damaged side mirror that hit a pedestrian, then left the scene of the accident.

It happened Nov. 9, a Saturday, shortly after 3:30 a.m. when Langley officers responded to a report of a pedestrian who was in medical distress in the 21600-block of 16 Ave.

No vehicles had remained on scene.

The pedestrian was taken to a local area hospital and later released, police said.

Investigators have now identified the make and model of the suspect vehicle and believe that it is a 2022-2023 model year Ford F150 Lightning Lariat edition that is black in colour. The vehicle would have had damage to its right side mirror and the charging port cover.

“We are asking for the public’s help to locate and identify the vehicle involved and speak with the driver and registered owner,said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
