The main route connecting Walnut Grove and Fort Langley will see some traffic slowdowns through to March as Langley Township does road maintenance six days a week.

Road crews will be working on 88 Avenue between 223A Street and Glover Road, with the work scheduled to take place from Feb. 10 to March 3.

The Township has announced that the maintenance will mean single-lane alternating traffic along that stretch of road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays. Traffic control flaggers will be on site, and the Township warned that drivers may see delays.

The work is weather dependent, and could be rescheduled or extended.
