The second annual Lemonade Legends contest was a huge success, says organizer Jodi Steeves.
The Aldergrove Business Association (ABA) contest is for kids between ages six and 16, and the winners will be determined by public and ABA voting based on taste testing.
With 17 children hosting nine lemonade stands on Sunday, Aug. 25, several of them won a portion of the $450 cash prizes up for grabs.
Winners of the $450 cash prize were table numbers one, three, four, and 10.
"We saw lavender lemonade shaken over ice, grapefruit fizz lemonade, homemade freezies, shark lemonade, Taylor Swift glitter lemonade, dancing ducks and more," Steeves said, president of the ABA.

Aariv, 10, came out for the contest this year to support his seven-year-old sister, Sanaya, who wanted to participate.
Sisters Coraline, seven, and Emily, three, returned for their second year of the contest to sell their homemade lemonade. Emily was in charge of attracting customers to their stand dressed in her duck costume.
Similarily, friends Aslynn, 12, and Abby, 13, returned for their second year as well to sell raspberry lemonade at their Shark Bite Lemonade stand.
And Ainsleigh, 12, partnered for a second year with The Hive Donut Hut to sell her pollinator-inspired lemonade.
Steeves thanked local businesses and volunteers for helping make the event happen again, and plans to organize another in 2025.
