Aerospace industry to gather in Abbotsford

Hundreds of officials, experts and businesspeople to gather at Tradex

While the public flocks to the Abbotsford airshow, aerospace industry leaders will be gathering next door at the 2014 Aerospace, Defence & Security Expo Aug. 7 and 8 at Tradex.

The two-day expo will gather together federal and provincial government cabinet ministers and officials, aerospace industry experts and military and security-industry executives.

It’s the third time Abbotsford has hosted the event, which is led by the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada.

The expo will include a trade show and professional forum with discussions focused on aerospace industry opportunities and strategies.

Last year’s expo featured more than 300 delegates and 60 exhibitors from a range of companies.
