Langley RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public to identify a person of interest in a recent mischief investigation.

On November 14 at approximately 4:30 p.m. a male entered a liquor store in the 26400-block of 32 Avenue and asked an employee if he could have a coat hanger because he had locked his keys in his car. The hanger was provided and the employee thought no more of it.

At the end of her shift, the employee found significant damage to the locks of her truck where someone had attempted to break in. Video surveillance confirms the damage was done by the male requesting the coat hanger.
