Cargo ship blows a hatch in English Bay

No injuries have been reported

A cargo ship appears to have blown a hatch in English Bay Tuesday night.

Witnesses say the bulk carrier Minoan Glory blew a hatch leaving the Vancouver Harbour.

The vessel did not catch fire as a result of the explosion but did produce lots of smoke and steam. No injuries have been reported.
