A small child fell from a two-storey window on early Saturday evening.
Emergency crews responded to an address on Springfield Drive in Aldergrove near Fraser Highway at a single family residence.
The RCMP and Langley Fire Rescue Service and BC Ambulance service paramedics responded. The playing field at the back of Shortreed Elementary School on 28 Avenue was blocked off to make a landing zone for a a medivac helicopter. The young victim was airlifted to Vancouver Childrens' Hospital at about 5:45 p.m.
It appears the child's mother flew with her son to the hospital.
