Crash clogs traffic on 204 Street in Langley

Pickup truck and SUV collide

A collision between a Dodge pickup and a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV caused traffic tie-ups at the intersection of 204 Street and 94B Avenue in Langley Tuesday night.

The police report of the incident said the collision occurred at 7:03 p.m. when the Santa Fe, driven by a 22-year-old Langley woman, turned in front of the pickup, driven by a 61-year-old Langley woman.

Injuries were reportedly minor, RCMP said.

The front tire axle of the pickup truck was broken by the force of the crash.

The driver of the Santa Fe was ticketed for failing to yield on a left turn.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
