The children described the male as ‘creepy’, police said.

The man who tried to chat up some children on the school grounds at Langley Fine Arts School in Fort Langley on Dec. 15 was 30 to 40 years of age, slim with a brown beard designed in a “flame pattern.”

He was wearing dark clothing and black and white “skeleton” gloves.

It was around 4:00 p.m. when he arrived on a motorized bicycle and proceed to talk with three elementary school age children.

The man made no attempt to lure the children away from the school, but one of the children became uncomfortable and ran into the school to get his mother, a teacher at the school.

When the teacher approached the male and attempted to speak with him, he turned his back and walked away.

Langley RCMP have released a composite sketch of the suspect.

If he looks familiar, call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 if you are able to assist with the identification of the suspect.
