Flooded roads re-open

Township of Langley warns people to stay off of Fraser River

Several roads have been re-opened as the Fraser River water levels appear to be receding.

The roads of 264 Street between 84 Avenue and 88 Avenue, 208 Street to Allard Crescent and 88 Avenue, between 256 and 264 Streets, are all open now.

The roads were closed last week (Friday) after water began spilling onto them.

The Marina Park boat launch remains closed.

And the Township is warning boaters and paddlers to stay off the river for now because of all the debris floating down the stream.
