A gas leak Tuesday afternoon caused Fortis BC to shut down 264 Street in Aldergrove, between Highway 1 and Fraser Highway.
Crews were on scene in the afternoon to find the source of the leak and repair it.
The road was reopened later in the evening after the repair work was completed.
Traffic in the area was rerouted during the shutdown of the busy road, which connects Highway 1 to the U.S.-Canada border.
