Tolls to cross the Golden Ears Bridge will go up again on July 15. The five-cent increase each way, for drivers who have transponders, is to cover the annual rate of inflation, said TransLink. It will now cost $3, up from $2.95.
The tolls, which pay for building, operating and maintaining the bridge, will increase from five to 10 cents, depending on the type of vehicle. There is no change to tolls for registered motorcycle customers.
If you haven’t registered, it will cost you $3.55 to cross. When the bridge first opened in July 2009, tolls started at $2.75 for cars.
