Guns and Hoses showdown

Police officers are going to square off against firefighters in a Guns and Hoses charity hockey game at the Langley Events Centre.

Police officers are going to square off against firefighters in a Guns and Hoses charity hockey game taking place on Friday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre.

Admission is by donation and all proceeds will go to support the Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley. Many Langley RCMP officers, including police chief Derek Cooke, are experienced hockey players so this showdown will be competitive.

There will be a skills competition during intermissions and a 50/50 draw.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 6:30 p.m.
