Transit Police has issued a warning to the public of a high-risk offender being released from custody.

Donald Kocurek, 46, will be living in the Lower Mainland.

Kocurek has been deemed a high-risk violent offender, likely to re-offend, by the Correctional Service of Canada.

Kocurek’s release includes the following conditions:

• Not to possess knives

• No to possess any liquid, spray, or powder capable of injuring, immobilizing, or otherwise incapacitating any person.

The public is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately if anyone witnesses him violating these conditions.
