Someone had a great idea to park army trucks and the fire truck on Fraser Highway in front of the Aldergrove Cenotaph for the Remembrance Day Service. The trucks shielded us from the wind and weather as well as from the traffic noise so that we could stand comfortably and hear everything that was said. Many thanks.

On another note, thanks for the good coverage and posting of electoral candidates in the last three issues of The Aldergrove Star. I felt that all the candidates and their platforms were fairly and well written up and that every Star reader had ample opportunity to inform themselves and make their voting choices.

I would like to commend Kurt Langmann and Janice Reid for producing a well-rounded, interesting and very readable newspaper.
