Langley Good Times Cruise-In full speed ahead, in Aldergrove

Registration is now underway for the 2017 charity car show, happening in Aldergrove this September.

Word came down this week that Langley Good Times Cruise-In has been given the green light for this September, in its new location.

It’s been confirmed that the charity car show will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, and the swap meet and car corral will happen on Sunday, Sept. 10, in Aldergrove, announced president Wayne Patterson.

“We are in full speed ahead,” he said. “We have completed all permit applications, we have now started the registration and planning part of the 2017 show.”

A public information meeting will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Aldergrove, 26607 Fraser Hwy., on Thursday, June 29, at 7 p.m., “to let the public know about the show and what we have planned,” Patterson said.

In the meantime, he announced that the 100 per cent volunteer show that benefits local charities have some new sponsors and are looking at bringing in some celebrities to kickoff the new location.

“We have now passed the panic stage,” he said, and “enjoying the 2017 possibilities and making the 2017 show bigger and better.”
