The owner of a legal medicinal marijuana growing operation was robbed early Sunday morning.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. at a home in the Brookswood area.

Two men knocked on the door claiming they had car troubles.

They then forced their way into the residence and showed their weapons – a rifle and a knife. The victim was bound and his eyes covered.

The suspects ransacked the residence looking for drugs, money and weapons.

The licensed medical marijuana growing in the garage was cut down and taken.

The suspects fled the residence in two vehicles stolen from the victim, a 1990 Red GMC pickup truck and a 1996 Brown Buick Regal.

The first suspect was a clean-shaven man in his early 20s, about 5'8" with short blond or bleached-blond hair.

The second dark-haired man was taller, about 6', and thin, no more than 150 or 170 lbs. He was in his mid-20s.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can also contact Crime Stoppers at www.solvecrime.ca.
