Federal NDP leadership candidate Thomas Mulcair will return to British Columbia March 9 to meet with New Democrats in Langley

Federal NDP leadership candidate Thomas Mulcair will return to British Columbia from March 9 to 12 to meet with New Democrats in Langley, Vancouver, Penticton and Kelowna.

Mulcair is currently the NDP Deputy Leader and is the MP for Outremont.

An experienced public administrator, Mulcair previously served as Quebec’s Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks. As the minister he vigorously applied environmental laws and regulations. He also authored the Sustainable Development Act, which led to the modification of the Quebec Charter of Rights to include the right to live in a clean environment.

Mulcair's Fraser Valley meet and greet is set for Friday, March 9, 7 p.m. at the BCGEU regional office, 8555 - 198A Street, Langley.
