Parks and rec fees up two per cent in Abbotsford

It will cost more to swim and skate, as well as to rent a city-owned building, starting Sept. 1.

Starting Sept. 1, it’s going to cost more to swim, skate or rent a city-owned facility.

Council has approved a two per cent increase in fees for any parks and rec facility. That will apply to all field rentals, programs, facilities rentals and admissions.

Admission for swimming or skating for a child age 3-12 jumps from $3.20 to $3.25 while an adult admission jumps from $6.05 to $6.15.
