Several Langley RCMP patrol cars, unmarked SUVs and the Air One helicopter converged on downtown Aldergrove about 4 p.m. Thursday.

Police attention appeared to be centered on the CIBC branch on 272 Street, just north of Fraser Hwy.

A signed posted on the CIBC’s locked front door said the branch was closed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

More details when they become available.
