The weather was mostly dry for BC Rivers Day at Derek Doubleday Arboretum in Langley Township Sunday.
The free family-friendly event featured live entertainment, a climbing wall, a course in panning for gold courtesy of Yukon Dan, animal displays, face painting, the Ta Daa Lady and Urban Safari Rescue Society. Children could also build bird boxes.
