The search is continuing today (Tuesday) for a missing Abbotsford woman.

Erica Grace Schmidt, 59, left her home on Timberlane Drive on Saturday morning and has not been seen or heard from since.

Const. Ian MacDonald said on Tuesday morning that there have been no records of Schmidt accessing financial or social media accounts.

Tips have come in from people who think they might have spotted Schmidt in different locations.

"We certainly have received a few tips … but so far none of these tips have panned out," MacDonald said.

Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue has had teams searching portions of Abbotsford, such as parks and bush areas, since Sunday night, and those searches will continue today.

As well, volunteers from the community have been posting and handing out  "missing person" flyers throughout the city and have been conducting their own searches for Schmidt.

The volunteer effort also continues today, with a command centre set up at the River Community Church – located next to Galaxy Bowl at 33550 South Fraser Way – throughout the day.

Regular updates are also being posted on the "Help Find Erica!" Facebook page.

Schmidt left her family home sometime between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday without any belongings. She does not own a cellphone, and she did not take any of the family vehicles.
