A 24-year-old Langley man died when his small hatchback collided with this semi.

The people who were riding in a silver or grey four-door sedan may know something important about the collision that claimed the life of a 24-year-old Langley man on Oct. 24.

Langley RCMP said one of the witnesses to the crash in the 6900 block of Glover Road said they noticed a third car at the scene immediately following the collision.

The car did not appear to be damaged in any way, the witness said.

"Police would like to speak to the occupants of this vehicle as they may have more information that would assist with the investigation" a written RCMP statement said.

A small hatchback was traveling northbound on Glover Road around 10 p.m. when it crossed the centre line and collided with a southbound truck near the intersection of Glover and Smith Crescent.

The car ended up in a ditch.

The driver and only occupant of the car, a 24-year-old Langley man, was declared dead at the scene.

The truck driver was unhurt, but shaken.

Toxicology tests on the deceased driver and a mechanical inspection of both vehicles were ordered.

Anyone with information that might be able to assist with theinvestigation is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
