Shoplifter with knife goads employee into fight outside store

He took out a knife outside the store and goaded employee who confronted him.

Langley RCMP are hoping someone in the public can help identify a suspect accused of producing a knife and goading a loss prevention officer into a fight at the Army & Navy store in Langley City on March 5.

The suspect walked into the store in Langley Mall and stole a canister of butane.

He left the store and, when confronted by the loss prevention officer, he took out a knife and goaded the LPO to fight. The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5’8” tall, in his early 20s, thin build, short, dark brown hair, a goatee, wearing a white ball cap, a black winter coat, faded blue jeans and red runners.
