Three charged following robbery of Bradner convenience store

The incident in the Abbotsford community took place Thursday night.

Three people have been arrested and charged following a robbery last Thursday at a convenience store in the 5400 block of Bradner Road.

Abbotsford Police patrol division officers were called to the site at 7:35 p.m.

Two men had confronted the 66-year-old store manager and stole cash, lottery tickets and cigarettes.

One of the men was brandishing a knife, and the suspects fled from the area in a white sedan.

APD officers arrived on scene and began searching for the vehicle and suspects.

Eventually, the vehicle was located near 264 Street in Aldergrove.

The subsequent investigation and tracking resulted in the arrest of two men and one woman.

James Russell Fraser, 30, and Jesse Kaj Thomsen, 22, have now been charged with robbery, and Leah Renee Dan, 30, has been charged with possession of stolen property.

Const. Ian MacDonald said the APD was able to make these quick arrests as a result of "excellent assistance" from witnesses and the Langley RCMP.
