A delivery truck got caught in overhead wiring Monday morning, snapping a power pole at 272nd and 35A Ave.

Emergency responders had to close off a section of 272 Street Monday morning after a delivery truck snapped a power pole. Police and fire engines with flashing lights closed off the street.

Traffic was diverted around the block after the truck snagged an overhead power line and snapped the power pole at the intersection of 272 Street and 35A Ave.

BC Hydro crew was on the scene tending to repairs.
