Two border jumpers were found in a berry field and arrested by Abbotsford Police on Sunday night.

Police were contacted by U.S. border patrol at about 7:40 p.m., saying they had located a vehicle with four people on their side of the border, but two others had likely made their way into Canada in the area of Ross Road and 0 Avenue.

Patrol officers and a K9 unit found the two men, ages 24 and 35, in the 29000 block of 0 Avenue. Const. Ian MacDonald said the two spoke limited English and were of South Asian descent.

They have been turned over to the Canadian Border Services Agency.
