WEATHER: Rain expected all day, with wind picking up tonight

The first in a series of storms is expected to hit the Fraser Valley beginning today

Rain, rain and more rain. That’s what you should expect from Abbotsford weather today and for the rest of the week, according to Environment Canada.

A storm, the first in a series, is coming from the west and is predicted to hit the area beginning today.

The seven-day forecast, looking ahead, also predicts rain on every day.

Here is todays wet forecast:

Fraser Valley – west, including Abbotsford

Today: Rain. Amount 20 to 30 mm. Temperature steady near 12.

Tonight: Rain ending after midnight then cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Becoming windy after midnight. Low 10.

Fraser Valley – east, including Chilliwack

Today: Rain ending near noon then cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers. Amount 20 to 30 mm. High 12.

Tonight: Rain. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Temperature steady near 11.
