FAST, Alvin Peter, passed away on September 12, 2006, in Langley, B.C., the day after celebrating his 63rd wedding anniversary with Nell. Alvin was born in Laird, Saskatchewan, January 26, 1917. He will be remembered and deeply missed by his loving wife Helen "Nell"; his sons, Harry (Penny), Richard (Mindy) and Mel (Gayle); his grandchildren, Kevin, Chris, Jonathan and Travis. Alvin is survived, also, by his sister, Verna and his brothers, Bob, John and Vic. Grateful thanks to his friends, Sallie and Gail Aitken, Dr. Leo Wong and the staff at Harrison Landing and LMH. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, Sept. 23rd, 2006 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No. 265, at 26607 Fraser Hwy., in Aldergrove. Rev. Ken Dean will officiate.
