Predeceased by her husband Howard in May 1983. Betty is survived by her loving children Susan Oakley (predeceased by Bob May 1993), Jill (Jim) Copes, John (Vickie) Craig, Jean (Dan) Puffer, Ann (Alf) Derksen, Alan Craig, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mom came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride. Mom and Dad raised their family on a small farm in Aldergrove, BC. They lived on their farm until 1979 and then moved to Chilliwack. Mom will always be remembered for her cookie jar; it always being full of homemade cookies.
No funeral service as per Betty's request. Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of
