Dougald Windsor Olson, 79, of Aldergrove, BC and formerly of Tsawwassen, passed away on April 29, 2017 peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family. Doug was born in Stockholm, Saskatchewan on May 20, 1937. Doug is survived by his wife, Linda, & two daughters, Carla (Skye) Cove, and Donna (Jeff) Ellis; his 7 grandsons, Dorian (Karen), Iain, Gordon, Thomas, Austin, Aidan & Aaron; his great-granddaughter, Chianna. Doug is preceded in death by his parents, Hugo and Svea (Vera) Olson; as well as his sister, Delrose Maxine. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Delta Hospice Society or Canadian Cancer Society. The family of Doug Olson wishes to thank the Delta Hospice Society and Palliative Care Centre for providing beautiful holistic care for our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. A Memorial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, at Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, V4K 1W6 Grandson Thomas Ellis will be officiating.
