Burgess, Edith ``Edie'' born November 29, 1939 in Chicoutimi, PQ passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2008 in the mountains of Africa. Edie was there in support of her sister Lili who recently suffered a loss. Edie is predeceased by her husband Charlie and brother Charles. She is survived by her 2 children, Sandra and Bil; 4 brothers & 6 sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Edie had an indomitable spirit. She loved people, had a passion for travel and will forever be missed and loved as she embarks on her next big adventure. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 10th, at 10:30 a.m. atthe Langley Banquet Centre, 3227 - 264th Street in Aldergrove, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edie may be made to the Aldergrove Veterans and Seniors Society, 27247 Fraser Hwy. Aldergrove, BC, V4W 3P9.
