Elzear passed away peacefully with the constant support of his loving family and friends. His wife of 68 years, Blanche Ratelle (nee Denommee) passed away July 30, 2012. Their physical experience together was one of 'great magnitude' and now they are connected spiritually, bonded as the 'soul mates' they truly are. He will be sadly missed by his children: Aurel, Jeanne, Susan, Jacqueline, Victor, Rita, Donald and his son-in-law and very good friend Craig Warren. His daughter-in-laws, son-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, share the loss of such a wonderful loving influence in their lives. His amazing sense of humor, generosity and acceptance of all who passed through his life was greatly welcomed by all whose lives he touched. Elzear has many sisters and brothers and leaves behind his sisters, Augemie, Theresa and his brother Lucien. Elzear always rose to the challenge of any endeavor. His philosophy and common sense combined with a unique insight was truly a gift to be admired! Physically you are not with us Dad but your spiritual energy will always 'soar above us'. We love you and you will always be in our 'hearts and minds'. His celebration of life will be held at Brookswood Baptist Church, 20581- 36th Ave., Langley, BC on Saturday March 14th at 11:00 a.m.
