HUNTER, Frederick Morris
"Fred", passed away suddenly in Langley, B.C., on Sunday, June 29, 2008, with his family at his side. He was 83 years of age.
Fred was predeceased by his first wife, Jean; his brothers, Lloyd, Bob and Bert, as well as his sister, Hazel. He served his country during WWII, as a radio operator in the Royal Canadian Navy. After the war, he became a professional goldsmith, working for Birk's Jewellers and operating his own jewellery store, Hunter's Jewellery in Fort Langley, until his retirement.
Fred is survived by his wife Noreen; his children, Susan, Ed, John and Les and their families, grandchildren, his sisters, Alice and Jean; nieces, nephews and dear friends. At Fred's request, no formal service is planned. Special thanks are expressed to Wayne and Shar, his dear friends and neighbours in Pioneer Park, for the wonderful care they have given to Fred and continue to give to Noreen.
