He started working at Clayton Service from age 13-18, then on to Steele-Nicholson Chev-Olds in Langley in 1953 later to become Preston Chev Olds in 1964. He worked his way up from a partsman, mechanic to salesman to become a Grand Sales Master for over 35 years. A total of 56 years worked until his retirement on Sept 15, 2004 from Prestons. In the 42 years in sales he sold a total of 9600 new and used vehicles (in his own words MY GOD!!)
Dad loved his boats and fishing. In 2000 they purchased their little piece of heaven on the ocean in Sooke where they spent the summers for 18 years.

We will always remember him as the life of the party when the spoons came out and all the hearts he touched in his 85 years.
Many thanks to the wonderful, thoughtful staff at Langley Hospice. No funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Langley Hospice or charity of choice. Condolences can be made to the First Memorial website.Obituary
