In loving memory ~ HANK (Hendrik) Vander Veen was born August 3, 1930 in The Netherlands and passed away in Langley, B.C., on September 24 at the age of 91. He is survived by his brother, Albert in Holland; 4 children, 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Terry in 1999 and his wife Annie in 2016.
Hank lived a long and full 91 years. Through the years, he enjoyed travelling but his biggest passion was stamps. He was an avid collector/ dealer and created the Pacific Northwest Stamp Company where he made souvenir stamp packages for many retail locations across Canada. He sold this business after 35 years, but still kept busy creating collections for auction houses in Canada and Holland.
In 2020 he entered the care unit in Langley Lodge due to failing health, where he received wonderful care during the last months of his life. His family extends special thanks to the staff there.
