CHAISSON, Henry Antoine. Born, August 11, 1929 in L’Etang-du-Nord, Quebec and passed away peacefully after a brief illness on September 25, 2011 in Penticton at the age of 82. Henry was a good natured and kind gentleman. Surviving are his loving wife of 51 years, Evelyn (Jackie); his kids, Ed (Jane) of Vanderhoof, Henry (Debbie) of Burns Lake, Michelle of Aldergrove and Colette (Dave) of Penticton. He will also be missed by his brother, Clary; sister, Bernice; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Henry was an avid fisherman who loved camping with his family. He was a jack of all trades who could fix anything and everything. He was a loyal Montreal Canadians supporter who was a great player and coach in his own right starring for many years in the Whitehorse area with his brother Clary. In his later years he was an avid fan of his grandkids' sporting events. A party in Henry’s memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the SPCA.
