March 27, 1948 - September 8, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim due to complications from a fall and his struggling battle with kidney disease.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shannon, his son Jamie (Liza) , step granddaughters Lhay and Thea, son Darren and grandsons Alex and Taylor, sister Donna Nabess, brother in-law Ted Scoles and mother in-law Myrna Guymer as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by his father Frank (1980) , his mother Margaret (1999) and sister Dianne Scoles (2020).
Jim's 40-year career as a salesman earned him numerous awards as Salesman of the Year, which he was very proud of. He was employed with B.C. Fasteners for 17 years, retiring in 2017.
Jim enjoyed golfing and was an avid curler serving on the Board of Directors (1992-1997) as well as President (1993-1996) for the Langley Curling Club.
He was a fun, loving guy with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Kidney Foundation or your preferred charity .
