Died peacefully in her sleep. A governess and teacher, born in Scotland, emigrated to Aldergrove in 1948, predeceased by her husband Capt. Edward T. Olejnik in 1972, Margaret is survived by daughters Dr. Irena-M. Olejnik-Khalil, Aldergrove, and Jasha (Janina) Ramsay (Gord Latter) N. Vancouver, and son Capt. Krys Olejnik (Eunice Pinto), Malaysia. Also by grandchildren Kasia Olejnik (Cam Curry), Lindsey Skaling (John Skaling), Stephanie Brinkman (Scott Brinkman), Brian Pinto (Jennifer Pinto) and great- grandchildren Kamryn and Jaden Skaling, nephew Dr. Stasz Mlynczak, niece Urszula Mlynczak (Edmonton), and nephew Mr. Bogdan Kuczynski (Poland).

The family wish to extend their deepest thanks to the entire staff at Jackman Manor for the exeptional care Margaret received during her time there. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held Sunday, August 30th, 2009, at 11:00am at Milner Chapel, 6716-216th Street, Milner, BC. Reception following. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Jackman Manor Care Facility, 27477-28th Ave., Aldergrove, BC, V4W 3L9.
