In Loving Memory (1947-2022) ~
Patrick passed peacefully with family by his side on March 24, 2022. Patrick was predeceased by his brother, Freddie and parents, Bridget and Alfred.
Thoughtful and kind hearted, Patrick devoted himself to his family and friends. Always checking in, visiting or lending a hand, Patrick made it his business to reach out and to keep in touch both locally and abroad.
In his younger years, Patrick was an active volunteer in local politics and community service, spending countless hours working with the Brookswood Lions Club and the Langley Lodge Society.
Though he always worked hard, Patrick also enjoyed his downtime. He was an exuberant hockey fan, avid fisherman and classic movie aficionado. Dad had a mischievous sense of humour and was a master story teller around a campfire. Patrick was also extremely proud of his Irish heritage and loved visiting with his extended family in Ireland.
He was a great Dad, the 'World's Greatest Poppy', a devoted husband, and a dear brother and friend.
Patrick is survived by his wife of 53 years, his 3 children, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his 2 sisters and brother.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Abbotsford Hospice Society would be appreciated.
A service will be held at St. Ann's Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC on May 13, 2022 at 10 am.
