MARCHAND
Peter John Marchand (Pete), 62, passed away peacefully at his home December 5, 2009. Pete was a friend to everyone in Downtown Aldergrove. He volunteered at numerous community events and worked for a number of years as handyman to many local businesses.
Although his heart eventually failed him, it was big enough and warm enough to comfort all who new him or even met him on the street. He loved to serve and was the king of improvising, making useful things out of most anything he found. He is survived by his sister Sandy, daughter Donna and son Jeff and his beloved grandchildren.... and his two cats. A service for Pete will be held at 10 am, Saturday at Bob's Bar n' Grill followed by a pot luck reception.
