Peter Zakrzewski

Peter Andrew Zakrzewski, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away suddenly on December 21, 2022.
Peter was born in Toronto, Ontario. His family soon moved to Guelph, Ontario, where he grew up with his older brother. After completing his residency in Ophthalmology at UBC, Dr. Zakrzewski decided to stay in B.C., set up his practice in Langley, and was a staff physician at Langley Memorial Hospital.
While Peter was a talented surgeon and dedicated physician, he was most proud of his role as a husband and father. He was adored by his wife, Claudia Lemay. He was a spectacular dad who adored his children and spoke of them lovingly.
Peter is survived by his father, Steven Zakrzewski, his brother Chris Zakrzewski, his wife Claudia, and his children, Justin, and Amelie. He is predeceased by his mother, June Hamilton (née Semple) and his stepfather, Carl Hamilton.
