Irish Gentleman, Artist, Poet, Writer, Singer, Actor, Teacher and Dreamer. On October 13, 2018, our beloved Raphael was gently taken by the Great Spirit into the waiting arms of his Mom, Pops and older brothers in Heaven.
He leaves to mourn, his loving wife Joan; devoted daughter Lucy (Mark) MacLoughlin; sons Bob (Karen) Lawrence; Peter, David (Julianna) and Mark (Lucy) Metin; 6 grandchildren Bryanna (Lenny), Emily, Charlotte, Michael, Daniel and Christopher; 2 great-grandchildren Madi and Brooke; sister-in-law Dorothy (Richard) Williams, brother-in-law Duncan (Beverley) McLean; and many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Ireland.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the caring, compassionate staff of the critical care unit at Langley Memorial Hospital.
Celebration of Raphael's Life will follow at a later date.
