February 28, 1962 – December 6, 2020
We sadly announce the passing of Reginald Gordon Nott on December 6, 2020 at age 58 following his battle with cancer.
Reg is lovingly remembered by brothers Doug (Lois) Nott, Tom Nott and step-brother, Darcy Killeen; by step- mother, Pat Killeen, step-sister, Lisa (Killeen) Mazzucco; by nieces Aliesha, Julie, Kaili and by Aunt Pam (Nott) Smith.
Reg was pre-deceased by his aunt, Margaret (Nott) Murie, his aunt, Anne Nott and by his father, Douglas Gordon Nott.
Reg was born on February 28, 1962 in Vancouver, BC. He was a devoted hard worker for over 30 years at Tree Island Industries Ltd. When diagnosed in June, 2020, Reg immediately started treatment to fight his cancer remaining hopeful and positive to the end.
Reg shared his home with his cat Carlos and he routinely and lovingly kept in touch with family and friends.
He will be especially remembered for keeping family-cooking traditions alive. His grandmother’s cheese sticks, Spanish rice and the Killeen Xmas meat pies were among his holiday specialties. Like his father, he had a knack for cooking everything to perfection.
Reg had a heart of gold and a soul of innocence that made him very special to us. He will be deeply missed!
With Covid 19 restrictions, our family is unable to conduct a ceremony to honor his life. Instead, family and friends are invited to share messages, memories or photos on his memorial page (https://www.facebook.com/ groups/828257037734218/?ref=share).
We thank you for celebrating the life of our Reg and, if wished, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
