"A husband, a brother, a father, a grandpa, a great-grandpa. He was Opa. A strong man, loved by all. On February 18 his soul went up, but his memory stays with us." - Written by his great granddaughter Angelina
Reinhold passed away surrounded by family on the morning of February 18, 2020. Survived by his wife Klara, his children Irene (Dave), Harvey (Susan), Harry (Pearl), Elizabeth (Mark), Simon (Darlene), his 15 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Reinhold was born into a large family of 13 siblings on April 13, 1926. He was raised by his parents Gottfried and Natalie Neumann in Lischtsche, Poland. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 and met his wife Klara while picking berries. They were married on May 31, 1952 and together raised their 5 children on their farm on Station Road in Aldergrove. Reinhold loved his family and enjoyed watching it grow. He loved seeing his children and grandchildren have babies of their own and looked forward to their visits and snuggles. He will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the home caregivers and Langley Hospital Emergency Department Staff and Fourth Floor South Nursing Staff.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Kidney Foundation.
