ALMGREN, Ruby Frances
Passed away peacefully at the Langley Hospice on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011. She was 70 years of age.
Ruby was born in Vancouver and spent many years in the Langley and Aldergrove area. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother and has no other immediate family in this area. Ruby was proud of her service in the RCAF and was a 30-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion. She worked for many years for the Lilydale poultry hatchery, in Abbotsford . She was a dear friend to many. At Ruby's request, no formal service is planned, but for those desiring, a donation in her, memory to the Legion Poppy Fund, or the BC Children's Hospital Foundation would be most appreciated.
