CAMPBELL, RUTH, long time resident of Richmond, passed away at the age of 85 on July 28, 2006 in Victoria, B.C., after a brief illness. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Duff Campbell in 1992 and her daughter, Louise Campbell in 2001. She is survived by her son, Craig (Bev) and grand daughters, Shannon (Matt) Burdenie and
Robyn (Bruce) Alexander. Great grand children - Campbell, Joshua, Aubrey, Benjamin and Hayley were the light of her life. She looked forward to all the family gatherings and celebrations so she could see her "Fabulous 5."
Also, many nieces and nephews have fond memories of their Aunt Ruth. In addition to her family, Ruth had many friends of all ages from Teaching, Bridge, Art clubs, South Arm United Church and other long-time residents of Richmond. She had a varied and exceptional retirement.
A Memorial Service will be held at South Arm United Church, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. As a tribute to Ruth, please do something special for somebody you love or care for; as she had done for so many throughout her life.
