DANVERS, Wallace ''Wally'', passed away at Langley Memorial Hospital on April 25, 2005, after suffering a heart attack at the age of 79. Wally was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. and was employed in the Visual Arts Presentation Department of the Hudson's Bay Company, retiring in 1984, after 43 years of service. Wally was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps. An avid bowler all his life, he still enjoyed bowling with the Seniors League of Aldergrove. He will be sadly missed by Elaine, his loving wife of 52 years; his son, Bob; his daughter Diane (Ken Howard); granddaughters Allison and Emily; family friend Rebecca and many other relatives and friends. A pet lover, Wally will be missed by his feline friend, George. A Memorial Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 at Aldergrove United Church, 2623 272nd St., in Aldergrove.
